The purpose of this program is to enable participants to gain favourable outcomes in conversations with key stakeholders by increased assertiveness skills. Being assertive can be challenging when a person is not in a position of authority or is acting as a single contributor in their role. At the heart of this program is the notion that everyone needs to be able to persuade others in order to achieve results. The way that people influence others is what matters most, because poor communication can impact the way we are perceived by the messages that we send. We can derail ourselves by not communicating our intention clearly, therefore losing credibility and ultimately our ability to influence others with assertiveness and confidence. This program uses integrated and experiential methodologies to provide participants with the theory and practical application required to successfully be assertive and influence others effectively.
